BEST Program Protocol for Improved Immunity And BEST Health |
|
Pandemic viral infections like the Swine Flu (H1N1) are a general concern for all of us. The level of infections will likely rise in the Fall when school resumes. Other populations at greater risk are those who are in close contact in office settings, people with a lot of public contact (such as teachers, flight attendants, etc.) and families with children attending school. Those of us in the health field may also be adversely affected. The above concerns have prompted the following proactive health approach to optimizing your immunity. Only a very healthy immune system will protect you if you are in contact with this virus. I personally am recommending what I currently am doing to defend against this potential threat.
My recommendations:
- Have a Functional Intracellular Analysis (FIA) done --- otherwise known as Spectracell which is a highly specialized test to measure and quantify nutritional deficiencies that affect your health. This test is usually covered by insurance and you do not have to be fasting. Ask our staff about having this test done. The blood is sent to Houston and the results take about 4 weeks. The results are reviewed with Dr. Fisher.
- Have a 25 Hydroxy vitamin D level drawn in the office.
- Start on the following regimen:
- BEST Multi-Vitamin and Minerals
- BEST Omega
- BEST D3
- BEST CoQ4U
- Beta Carotene
- Ultra Antioxidant Formula (Douglas Labs)
- BEST Melatonin
- Consider IV Glutathione pushes (potent antioxidant) 1500 mg weekly (takes 10 minutes in the office)
- Consider Vitamin B12 2cc (Hydroxycobalamin) with 400 mcg Folate weekly
- Consider IV Nutritonal bag (high dose vitamins, nutrients, etc.) – Rx written per Dr. Fisher – IV for nutritional repletion – takes 1- 1 ½ hours in the office. Usually 8-15 IV’s as a series which is scheduled weekly.
- Hormones optimized – ask Dr. Fisher --- if not on hormones, have them tested – ask the Staff about labs --- then see Dr. Fisher.
- Vaccination – when available and if indicated as per the Center for Disease Control.
ENJOY BETTER HEALTH!
