| The vitamin that can save your life! |
|
There is a vitamin I like you to know about -- it may save your life.
I am always asking my staff to ask patients if they are taking their vitamins! Because I want my "BEST patients" to feel and look their best.
It is interesting that recent studies have shown ONE vitamin really makes a difference in your health.
![]() This vitamin is so special in age management and helping my patients maintain their health that I ask my staff to include it on routine lab testing.
If I told you there was a simple vitamin which you could take on a daily basis that would diminish your risk of heart attack, help you fight obesity, help prevent osteoporosis and lessen your risk of depression and Alzheimers disease and improve your immunity. Wouldn't you be interested to know more?
The other interesting feature of this vitamin is that it really appears now that this vitamin is more like a hormone and we can easily test your level. I also tell patients that if your level of this hormone is OPTIMAL, then your risk for solid tumors (like colon, breast and prostate cancer) can be reduced by 72%!
"Good Morning America" and ABC News featured this vitamin as a topic on February 25, 2010 and was discussed as breakthrough research. Of note was their medical correspondent, Dr. Besser, when asked, said it was an important vitamin and there was exciting news about it but not every patient should ask their doctor to be tested. WHAT?? I want my patients to have youthful and OPTIMAL levels of this hormone and we test for it! So are you interested???
The vitamin is Vitamin D and it is the vitamin naturally supplied to all of us with exposure to sunlight. But even here in South Florida where my patients have more than adequate exposure, I still am finding less than optimal levels!!! So I recommend REPLACEMENT!! So ask my staff about having your level tested and then we can review your levels and I will be able to adise you how to easily supplement!
